She will be here soon...

At our last dr. appointmet we had another sonogram, just to check on her. Doctor Harris said she had full lips and chubby cheeks! I know this will make her MiMi happy, since she was worried about her being too skinny, she likes chubby babies. The technician estimated that she weighed about 5.2 lbs. Soooo, adding 1/2 lb. a week for the next four weeks --- she definitely won't be too skinny. I like chubby babies too, but I would be okay with anything less than 8 pounds!

We go back to the doctor on 5/6/09 and hopefully little Miss Priss will arrive BEFORE school is out -- mom really doesn't want to be at school that last week or two.

Addison's Baby Showers

Addison received tons of great gifts at her baby showers! We have already put away many of her things and her room is still overflowing with bags and baskets full of gifts. We are very lucky to have so many people that care about our little girl!

• The first shower was given by the AIS staff on March 23rd. I am very lucky to work with so many caring people!
• Then, we had an exciting "couples" shower given by Rachel, Carman, and Erin on April 19th. Everyone enjoyed the food and entertainment! It's not everyday you have miniature donkeys in your front yard - the kids loved it - even the big kids.

• The last shower was given by Forest Grove Christian Church on April 26th. I enjoyed having lots of family and friends to share the occasion with. Addison received so many gifts - we had a hard time getting them loaded for the ride home. The cake that was served was made by the same lady who made our wedding cake (now she will have to make Addison's first birthday cake :)
