I LOVE MY BABY GIRL SOOOO MUCH!!

Addi and I played with her schnauzer "Douglas" after her bath tonight! I loved these pictures and it's 9 o'clock on a Friday night and my husband is still not home - so I had to share! Sometimes I can't believe how much I love her. Tonight she was soooo sweet, she snuggled up to me, took her bottle and when she was done she just rolled over and looked at me like "put me in the bed"!! Then, one round of Jesus Loves Me and she was out like a light.

Well, our little monkey is still changing everyday. Now she is working on her second tooth and I am busy changing diapers and rubbing her gums! I am still making all of her baby food and she has not found anything that she doesn't like. Last week I started giving her "yogurt bites" that she can put into her mouth all by herself. She hasn't quite gotten the hang of it, but she is getting better. She has been pulling up on stuff for weeks, but just recently she has started letting go and standing on her own for a few seconds. She does really well until she realizes that she is on her own and she panics a bit and falls on her butt! Ryan and I have a bet going... he thinks she will walk before spring break (middle of March) and I think it will be sometime after that. Right now she is laying on the living room floor watching Dora! Oh, how she loves Dora! Maw Maw bought her a Dora t-shirt and when she wears it she is constantly pulling it out so she can see Dora! Every morning her and I get up and she watches one episode of Dora and one episode of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She watches and laughs and sometimes even dances! It's fun to just sit and watch her reactions. Recently we have been working on "Baby Can Read", it's a program that teaches baby words and supposedly teaches them to read! I think she is doing well, I think she already recognizes a few of the words!

Ryan has started baseball, so I am officially a single mother again! I swear he is working longer hours with baseball than he did with football. The weather hasn't been cooperating here either, so it is making it harder to practice! So, with him gone all the time it makes it near impossible for me to get anything done. With the help of a Baby Einstein's dvd I sometimes get to workout and take a shower, sometimes! Oh well, I will survive without - I am just glad I get to stay home with her. The thought of getting a job and putting her in daycare makes me a little sick :( Who knows, maybe a miracle will happen and I will get to stay home with her again! Oh well, I better go - Dora is over and it is time for Addi's breakfast!
