More summertime photos!
Riding the train @ Zilker Park (the same one I rode when I was a kid...never thought I would say things like that!)
Having fun on the train!
"What?!?!?!"
This is the face I get when I have a camera and I say "cheese"! We have a little smarty pants on our hands!
Swimming in Barton Springs Pool (yes, it is only 68 degrees!!!) She was completely unphased by the cold water! Ryan and I could barely stand to get in the water and she was up to her neck it, laughing and playing!

Well, today is Monday 8/9/10 which officially marked the start of 2-a-days for football. Ryan and the rest of the coaching staff went back to work last week, but today was the first day with kids. Really, Ryan has worked all summer, but I guess now it is official. It surprises me, but Addison and I still manage to keep busy during the day. I don't have much of a choice, she goes non-stop all day long! I know all parents think that they have a smart kid, but we really do! She does something everyday to impress us. Just a few of her tricks: she does the motions (some of them) to the song "Head, Shoulder, Knees...", she does (some) the motion to "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" ....These tricks came from her Baby Can Read DVDS! She knows most of her body parts, she can say some words, like "fish", "shoes", etc. The cow goes "moo" and the dog goes "ruff ruff" and her Paw Paw goes "pow pow" (deer hunting). Well anyway, I could go on, but I would hate to rub it in just how smart our baby girl really is :) I can't take all the credit (cause she has had other teachers) but I like to think that some of her "extreme smartness" comes from her Momma staying at home with her. I guess things always work out like they are supposed to. God wanted me to stay at home with her last year, and as it turns out, it looks like he wants me to stay at home with her again this year! Oh well, who am I to question him! I hope he lets me in on the rest of his plan (like how to pay the bills) sometime soon. Until then, I guess I better get to sleep, my little alarm clock will be up bright and early in the morning.

14 months old!
These pictures were taken on Addi's 14 month birthday! This was daddy's last week off before football starts, so we went to the park to take pictures and did as much family stuff as we could fit into a week. She was so funny, her little personality really shows in her pictures these days. She definitely recognizes a camera and cheeses it up when she sees one!
